Bosparan, the city of a hundred towers, was founded in 991 BC at the behest of the divine Horas and was the capital of the Bosparan Empire. The palace of the Horas emperors stood atop the Kaiserkopf hill in Bosparan, and distances on the imperial roads were measured from the gilded zero-mile marker in the city center. A group of Grolms also lived underground within the city.
Like Methumis and Arivor, the city was razed to the ground in an attack by the Gareth citizen army after the Second Demon War. This event marks and establishes the Fall of Bosparan (BC).
On the ruins of Bosparan, during the reign of Rohal the Wise, Vinsalt, the new capital of the Horas Empire, was built. It still encompasses the southern district of Old Bosparan and the Sotterranea, which contains some remnants of the original Bosparan.
