Great Slave-death

“I beg you, my son, lay down your weapon before our master learns of your transgression. It doesn’t matter how he came to rule over us. Whether the gods granted him that right or he claimed that right by force, all that matters is the sword he carries.”
-Boronlenso, slave from Al’Anfa, modern

The great slave-death lives in the nightmares of all enslaved peoples of southern Aventuria. Its artfully crafted blade symbolizes every painful death ever imagined by slaves.

The sword’s longer edge slices through bone with ease, while the jagged shorter edge tears flesh like the fangs of a dragon. Even the sight of such a weapon is enough to strike fear in the hearts of slaves and heroes alike.

Learning to wield the great slave-death is no simple matter. Its length and weight demand great strength and the use of both hands, but it is not a clumsy weapon, and a skillful wielder can easily trap an opponent’s blade in its teeth.

Weapon Advantage: The Intimidation (Threats) check for the special ability Threats (see Aventuria Compendium page 105) receives a bonus of 1. The great slave-death causes +1 DP against unarmored humanoids with PRO 0.

Weapon Disadvantage: If successfully parried, roll 1D6. On a result of 5-6, the opponent’s weapon becomes stuck in the blade, giving the wielder a -1 penalty to AT for the next CR. This rule does not apply to attacks against unarmed opponents.
