Waterskin
“Take this waterskin with you, Druan bren Anargh. It contains a magic potion that will give you great strength.”
-Anonymous Gjalsk shaman, modern
Waterskins are made to carry liquids on long journeys, but unlike flasks they hold many pints of water, beer, or wine. Leather is relatively expensive, so waterskins are often made from the stomachs of cows or sheep and incorporate a filling tube that connects to a standard tap. They are easily carried by tying two equally filled waterskins to either end of a yoke (basically a long wooden stick born upon the shoulders).
Some people use a stopper made of cork or wax to seal their waterskins, and while these seals sometimes leak, they can help prevent stagnation.
