Short Bow

Short bows are the most common type of bow in Aventuria. They are made for hunting, and armies use them when nothing better is available. They also are the bow of choice for traveling adventurers, due to their convenient, small size and affordable price.

Other bows may have significantly greater impact and range but the short bow can fire more rapidly. Despite their low draw strength, short bows are dangerous at short distances. Bowyers sometimes sell special arrows with tips that are barbed, make a whirring sound, or can be set alight to start fires.
