Throwing Disc / Ring / Star
“Phex’s weapons are as numerous as the stars in the sky.” -Ayshara, moonsilver hadjina of the Mada Basari
Assassins, thieves, and sly servants of Phex all share an affinity for small, accurate projectile weapons that can be easily concealed underneath clothing.
- Throwing discs are flattened metal objects with small projections that contribute to their accuracy.
- Throwing rings are flattened rings with sharpened outer edges that can cause deep wounds on unarmored targets.
- Throwing stars have sharpened edges that can temporarily become stuck in targets. They are especially common in the Lands of the Tulamydes, in Meridiana, and on the island of Maraskan.
Until mastered, these weapons can seem to have minds of their own, and inexperienced wielders sometimes accidentally strike the wrong target.
