Cudgel
“They tore into their victims without mercy, splitting their skulls and shattering their limbs. Their animalistic rage knew no bounds as they swung their cudgels and impaled their enemies.”
— eye-witness report of an ambush in the Svellt Valley
All heavily muscled warriors have probably held cudgels at some point in their lives.
Many learn to wield it as an extension of their arms. Gladiator schools force their warriors to train with heavy iron cudgels the length of their forearms and as thick as their biceps. Having practiced with such heavy objects, they can wield normal cudgels tirelessly and use them to inflict grievous wounds. However, wooden cudgels cannot long endure this level of use and frequently require repairs.
