Sun-scepter
“…and for each lie the subject shall receive a blow with the scepter. Should the subject deny the lie, repeat the blow until the subject confesses. The accused may be reminded, with a whip, to answer truthfully, before receiving another blow with the sun-scepter.”
-Valerian Helswin, addressing the Sun Legion
The golden sun-scepter is the unmistakable symbol of Blessed Ones of Praios. They have red velvet grips and are decorated with symbols pleasing unto Praios, such as the wheel of the sun or images of griffons. This sanctified item fills its bearer with the pride of the King of Gods. Ownership is granted only to Blessed Ones of Praios.
Though the scepter is intended to be a ceremonial item, it also serves as a weapon. A heavy blow with its prongs can inflict serious wounds, though the sun-scepter is ill-suited for combat in general.
